Hey there, Whipper Snapper!
We’re here. It’s hump day, again. Whaddya know?!
I’ve written three different half-sentences to start this newsletter, and every one of them felt stale. You’ve heard ad nauseam about my move and how much moving sucks. You know I sent my middle daughter off last weekend and cried like a baby.
So I asked myself, “What could I possibly tell them that they haven’t already heard?”
Naturally, my brain immediately went to random “did you know?” facts. 😋 So, here are two wild facts you may not have known, then we’ll get on with it.
Did you know Minnesota has more shoreline than California, Hawaii, and Florida combined? Between Lake Superior and our thousands of lakes, we are, apparently, aggressively waterfront.
Also: Wombats poop cubes. It’s true. The cubes help mark territory because they don’t roll away. Evolution is fascinating. And occasionally very unserious.
Now that your brain has been appropriately nourished, here’s what’s on tap this weekend in the Twin Cities.
Enjoy!
XO, Jen
